make music.

15+ years of Rails. Started a company, grew it to 80 people, sold it. Spoke at conferences on 3 continents. Now I also record albums in my home studio. Yes, really.

def story

I've been working with Ruby on Rails for almost 15 years now. No, really, I wouldn't change it for anything.

Over the years I started and sold a consulting company while helping hundreds of businesses with their Ruby-based websites. I've done plenty of management and business analysis work while always staying involved in technical decisions.

I've spoken at conferences all over the world. At some point I was even doing music with Ruby. These days I compose, record, mix, and master music in my home studio.

A web development consulting company built on Rails. Grew it to 80 people and ~$2M USD/year before selling a big chunk to a larger company. Still going strong and bigger than ever.

I have been playing music since I was 15. Lately in a more dedicated way.

I have a small studio at home and I've recorded and released songs on Spotify. I composed, recorded, mixed, and mastered all of these by myself.

I aspire to switch careers at some point to become a Pro Audio Engineer, but I keep hearing it's a tough business.
